We at VEG had our debutant moment, our public debut, at the Sustainable Living Festival in February 2009. This makes last Friday our fourth birthday! And for the fourth year in a row we helped set up a garden on the banks of the Yarra and ran three days of free workshops, and met hundreds of people. With Dan away in NZ, Adam, Carey, Will, Michael and Adam’s dad Jim held the fort, well the fortified chicken house anyway.
Here’s a couple of photos.
Adam, Will and Adam’s dad Jim show off the new model VEG Chook House built by Will and Carey! Looking sweet!
Adam with one of our true heroes, permaculture co-originator David Holmgren, who wrote some kind words for the back cover of Adam and Annie Raser-Rowland’s book, The Weed Forager’s Handbook

Costa attempts to reset Adam’s broken wrist, high 5 style. Costa’s brand of “intuitive medicine” was not as effective as hoped. Pete the Permie looks on.
