🌿🛠️ Throwback to a special project in West 🌿🛠️ Throwback to a special project in West Brunswick where we custom-fit some cypress garden beds to an existing deck. We reshaped part of the stairs and matched those existing mitre angles for a snug, natural fit. Swipe to see the transformation and how it looked before!

These beds were the non-wicking type, designed for hardy natives, but they still got the VEG touch with some high-quality liner to ensure longevity and protect the timber.

We love bringing these unique, high-quality cypress creations to life! Have an outdoor space in need of a makeover? We're here to tailor garden beds with a variety of seating and capping options. What does your dream garden look like? Let's chat! 🌺🌻

December's here, and Melbourne's gardens are soaki December's here, and Melbourne's gardens are soaking up the wet start to summer. If you’ve managed to get most of your summer crops in early, then you’re hopefully being rewarded with some lush growth.

Deciding whether to sow or plant? It's all about your garden's microclimates and your own circumstances. While it's getting a bit late for sowing tomatoes from seed, there's still time to start with seedlings. And if you've already got cucumbers and zucchinis in the ground, consider a second planting to keep the harvest going strong later into the season.. 🥒🌼 🍅

Remember, every garden is unique, so tailor your approach to what works best for you. And don't forget to check out our website for more juicy gardening tips and tricks!

Talk about an egg-citing relocation project! 🚚🐔 Back in April 2023, we crafted a custom chook system for six sociable Isa Browns at Jennings Street School in Laverton. However, life's twists and turns and a building redevelopment prompted a move to a new slice of green on the school's grounds.

The "girls" didn't skip a beat in their new home, churning out five eggs on day one – proving nothing beats a fresh start on some green grass.

Handmade with care in Brunswick, our chook houses use sturdy, ethically sourced Cypress, ensuring your brood lives luxuriously. Designed with chicken welfare in mind: from the mesh floors (say goodbye to manure troubles!) to the double egg boxes and weatherproof colorbond roof. We even customize the door placement for your convenience. Paired with our fox-proof straw yards, it's a top-notch setup that's as low-maintenance as it is secure.

Production of our chook systems is on hold momentarily, however, the gears are set to turn again in the new year. Get in touch and request a quote today. 🏡🥚

Summer's knocking at the door, and Melbourne's gar Summer's knocking at the door, and Melbourne's gardens are wide awake and buzzing! Time to get outdoors and harvest those broad beans, silverbeet, lettuce, and other edibles thriving in the milder spring temps. When you're planting out, give those new seedlings a boost with compost and worm castings. Mulch is your friend but keep it a little bit away from seeds and new seedlings to deter slaters and other critters who like to hide. Still having trouble? Consider a classic beer trap or if the snails are really getting you down, seize a dewy night to reduce the population manually.

Now is also a key time to make sure your summer watering systems, like wicking beds or irrigation, are in tip top shape and ready to roll.
