1. Eligibility
1.1. The competition is open to everyone who loves gardening!
2. How to Enter
2.1. To participate, follow us on Instagram or Facebook.
2.2. Send us a photo of your garden along with a short story (up to 200 words) about your gardening experience.
2.3. Email your entry to competitions@veryediblegardens.com.au.
2.4. By entering, you’ll automatically be added to our mailing list, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Submission Guidelines
3.1. Make sure the photo is your own and taken by you.
3.2. Your story should also be original and written by you.
3.3. Please keep your content family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences.
4. Use of Entries
4.1. You keep the rights to your photo and story.
4.2. By sending your entry, you give us permission to share your photo and story in our newsletter, on social media, and other promotional materials.
4.3. We might make small edits to your story for clarity and length.
5. Competition Period
5.1. The competition starts on Monday 12/08/2024 and ends on Monday 26/08/2024.
5.2. Entries received after the end date won’t be considered.
6. Judging and Prizes
6.1. Our team at Very Edible Gardens will choose the winner based on creativity and the story that best captures the spirit of gardening.
6.2. The winner will receive a copy of “The Weed Forager’s Handbook:
A Guide to Edible and Medicinal Weeds in Australia” including free shipping Australia-wide.
6.3. We’ll announce the winner via email within 14 days of the competition closing.
6.4. If we can’t reach the winner within 14 days, we’ll pick another winner.
7. General
7.1. We might need to change or cancel the competition, but we’ll let you know if that happens.
7.2. Very Edible Gardens isn’t responsible for any entries not received due to technical issues.
8. Privacy
8.1. We take your privacy seriously. Any personal data provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of this competition.
8.2. We will not share your personal information with any third parties without your explicit consent.
8.3. Your email address and other contact information will be added to our mailing list, but you can unsubscribe at any time.
