It’s always exciting to try out a new course, and Viva la Ferment Fever was no exception.  Run in conjunction with Transitions Hobsons Bay, Amanda had spent over a week preparing, and had an awe-inspiring collection of ferments on display as the participants arrived.  Here’s Dan & Amanda’s little girl Ciela greeting participants at the door (she bought a book along for when things were quiet)…

Thanks to the 17 lovely participants who came along.  Here’s a photo of Amanda getting the ball rolling…

into the practical…

and here’s one of the more popular treats (labne or yoghurt cheese balls) that was made and enjoyed as part of a lunch in which many billions of microbes were consumed…

The day was booked out well in advance so we plan to run similar events in future – if you are interested keep an eye out on our upcoming courses page and feel free to contact us to go on a waiting list and to let us know which suburb you’d like us to consider running it in (if you can get enough people organised, we’re there!).
